Our story

Who We Are

VOX Equity Think Tank

Research for equity, driven by community.

VOX Equity is a student-led research and policy think tank that translates lived experience, academic scholarship, and community priorities into actionable outputs. We produce literature reviews, policy briefs, data visualizations, and manuscripts in preparation — all grounded in the communities we serve.

Our work sits at the intersection of health equity, public policy, and systems-level change. Every project is designed to move from evidence to impact.

Voices of Equity Parent Organization

The movement behind the mission.

Voices of Equity (VoE) is the parent organization of VOX Equity. Founded to amplify underrepresented voices in health and public life, VoE builds the pipeline of student advocates, researchers, and changemakers who go on to power think tanks, policy teams, and community organizations.

VOX Equity is the research arm of this larger movement — the place where curiosity meets rigor, and where student scholarship becomes public-facing impact.

Conner Entenberg

Conner is a chemistry major at Binghamton University planning to go into medicine. He has a particular interest in health equity, both volunteering with the Open Door Care Network medical center and founding the Voices of Equity chapter at Binghamton. He has also been heavily involved with therapeutics research: investigating chemotherapy, anti-tuberculosis drugs, and embedded 3D-bioprinting for tumor models. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing volleyball, writing short stories, hiking, and reading sci-fi/fantasy.

Rhea Saranath

Rhea is a public health major and English minor at Tulane University, with plans to attend medical school. She founded The Goddess Project during high school to fight period poverty and expand access to menstrual health resources, growing it into a network of student-led chapters across Washington, New York, Texas, and New Jersey. Her research experience spans premature brain injury at the University of Washington School of Medicine and myocardial ischemia recovery at the University of Minnesota. On campus, she works as a Student Medical Assistant with Tulane Sports Medicine's football program.
